Seriously. This was right outside the door to my room on the 14th floor, and opened and closed mysteriously throughout my stay. I was going to throw down a penny, then realized I might awaken something better left undisturbed.

You should have thrown the penny in there! It's all about the adventure... whether it's you shorting out the whole building or demons descending on the 14th floor.
